Caravan dweller, Silverthorne Lane

Reported in the Obstruction category anonymously at 15:27, Tuesday 27 August 2019

Sent to Bristol City Council 3 minutes later

There is a caravan dweller on Silverthorne Lane opposite from the former Clark’s Wood Company yard on Silverthorne Lane, whom has been here for a number of months now.

Since this caravan has parked up on the street causing an obstruction to HGVs travelling up and down the street to and from the Actavo yard (previous RTCs have occurred here), there has also been a marked increase in flytipping, occasional arson spates of said flytipped rubbish, and improper disposal of human refuse (bottles containing what appears to be urine can be found by the caravan, as well as a bucket underneath the caravan jotting-out onto the road which smells and appears to contain human refuse).

Redevelopment work is scheduled to begin on the former Clark’s Wood Company site and other sites along Silverthorne Lane in the not too distant future, and so this caravan could prove to cause a further obstruction to heavy vehicles and machinery needing to travel along the road, as well as the also previously mentioned associated issues of flytipping and human waste disposal.
