Maintenance of the base of trees along the grassed area nex to Whitchurch Lane
Reported in the Trees category anonymously at 08:19, Wed 28 August 2019
Sent to Bristol City Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1746714.
The areas around the base of the trees are not being maintained. I have prevously reported this. Some trees were done and yet others were left without any reason why only some were done. Please ensure that ALL the area around the tree trunks are attended to along the gressed area, on Whitchurch Lane, from Fortfield Road to Ridgeway Lane. It will mean that the regular grass cutting will be more efficient and it will save a bigger job in the future. Thank you.

Some of the bases around the trees have been done but not others.it is not clear why some have been done and not others.
The stretch of grass runs from Fortfield road to Ridgeway Lane.
Please arrange for the excess growth around the bottom of EVERY to be removed. Grass cutting will then be more efficient and the build up of rubbish and debris reduced. Thank you.

The growth around some of the trees is still there AND growing. If it is 'nipped in the bud' so to speak, the issue will be easier and more affordable to deal with. It is basic maintenance.

Still there are trees with growth around the base of some trees. If not removed soon, the new growth around the base will trap litter and not allow the mowers to cut the grass properly.

There are still trees with excess growth at the base. This will prevent the sit on mowers moving around the base of each tree. It will also trap rubbish.
