It's now a year, yes 12 months (or 365 days) since I first filed my report about the blocked drain outside No 7 Burghley Road. Why has no action been taken? Is the council no longer fixing blocked drains? Do I have to send you an annual reminder from now on? A coherent response would be most welcome.....

Over 2 years since first reported NOTHING has been done about the blocked gutter drain outside #7 Burghley Road BS6 5BL. The drain is now almost completely obscured by debris and silt being now in a collapsed state, having become a trip hazard to pedestrians and risks potential vehicular damage, possibly becoming a sink hole. With recent heavy rain, water that would otherwise be captured in this drain flows further down the road and contributes to overloading of other drains risking flooding into Effingham Road.

With recent heavy rain the blocked drain is now posing a potential hazard with water pooling around the sunken surrounds and flooding back into the street. Also creating a risk to vehicles where tyres might be damaged.
WHY HAS NOTHNG BEEN DONE FOR WELL OVER 2 YEARS SINCE FIRST REPORTING?
