Reported in the General Highways Enquiry category anonymously at 21:24, Monday 2 September 2019

Sent to Bristol City Council 2 minutes later

The danger caused by vehicles travelling at speed when undertaking vehicles turning right into Bishop Rd outside of Vets for Pets and Fizz Hairdressing Saloon 275/273 BS78NY has increased in that a statistical probability suggests death or serious injury to those using the footpath. Data regarding the problem indicates a very high risk of vehicle impact with random living beings Monday to Saturday 7:30>9: 30, 14:45>19:00 should anyone wish to review the situation first hand: it is advisable NOT to stand stationary in this particular area of pavement as you may be challenged by a moving vehicle.

There is also a probability of death or serious injury to the occupants of vehicles who drive along the footpath as the concrete telecommunications service access covers are not suitable: they do not satisfy the required structural standards for weight and impact stresses of road vehicles. The area is also subjected to pooling water being a puddle often in excess of 2mtx0.5mt, the splashing of footpath users is frequent, this is due to the road drain being blocked.
