Lighting column placed across centre of driveway severely limiting access. Speed hump too high. Neighbours opp parking ontop of it (double yellow lines) - Damage is being caused to my vehicle due to badly positioned light column - difficulty entering and exiting my own driveway due to that AND cars being parked directly opposite.

Sent to Bristol City Council 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1760453.
73 Lydney Road, Southmead, Bristol, BS10 5JX. Lighting column located across the driveway of my property has caused damage to several vehicles already. Dents, scrapes, etc. Trying to enter my property over the too high speedhump area -with deep gutters is causing further damage to tyres, suspension, CV joints, axels, wheel struts, and tie rod ends. I have repair receipts for my vehicle and photos available showing the measurements of the gap between kerb and top of speed hump that my car tyres gets stuck in, attempting to reverse back into my property and also showing the height of the excessively high speed hump. The standard height of speed tables is supposed to be 75mm in height - the table outside my property is over 400mm. Matters are further complicated by neighbours opposite parking on top of the speed hump on the double yellow lines, restricting space to be able to enter and exit my own property safely with this light column in place. Please relocate this light column to the edge of my boundary - there is a hedge and power pole already there, so this should not be too difficult to relocate.

Does 'customer follow up' mean that someone there at the council will be getting in touch with me to let me know when this badly positioned lighting column will be relocated? Thanks, Patrick
