Defective inspection cover on junction of Watchhill Avenue and Elm Hayes. Almost outside 1 Elm Hayes.

Reported in the Carriageway Defect category by Councillor Kevin Quartley at 22:05, Sun 15 September 2019

Sent to Bristol City Council 17 hours, 50 minutes later

Inspection cover (manhole/drain cover) is reported to make a noise whenever a vehicle goes over it. This has been reported before and believe attended but the noise issue of vehicle driving over still remains. Because of the location, it catches vehicles very often. I would imagine this would cause problems as time goes on with the structure of the cover. Another issue is the clanging noise. This is affecting the quality of sleep for the residents of number 1 and number 2 Elm Hayes. The attached photos shows the location and problem. This have been an on-going problem for many months.
