Pavement obstructed by scaffolding

Reported in the Obstruction category anonymously at 12:34, Thursday 19 September 2019

Sent to Bristol City Council 1 minute later

There is building work with scaffolding at the junction between Victoria Parade and Whitehall rd. The scaffolding has been blocked off so pedestrians can't use the pavement. I use a mobility scooter so have had to reverse 200m to the nearest dropped kerb and then proceed in the road in order to get to the zebra crossing on Whitehall rd. I can't cross to the other side of the road as there is no dropped kerb. This has been going on for approx 3 weeks and there is no signage to warn pedestrians , ibdicate how long the pavement will be closed for or identify who the building is being carried out by.
