Flooding of footpath between Tyndall’s Park Road and Victoria Methodist Church whenever there’s heavy rain
Reported in the Flooding category anonymously at 09:13, Wed 25 September 2019
Sent to Bristol City Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1779882.
Whenever there’s heavy rain the pedestrian footpaths become flooded across their width, in particular at the pelican crossing at the Tyndall’s park Road junction and at each entrance gateway between there and Victoria Methodist church. Between the trees whose roots are breaking through the pavement the flooding extends into the carriageway and careless driver’s cars cause “bow” waves that exacerbate the problem. At the crossing the entire width becomes flooded at both sides of Tyndall’s Park Road. This has been an issue for at least 2 years and occurs whenever there’s heavy rain.
