Severely blocked drain outside 12 Oakfield Grove BS8 2BN.

Severely blocked surface drain outside 12 Oakfield Grove BS8 2BN. Looks like mud, sand and gravel so pretty solid. We are concerned it might be affecting the general water table level and soak-aways not functioning efficiently. Possibly other drains in the road need cleaning out too. Also many other drains in the Alma / Oakfield / St Johns Road area seem to be not flowing.

  • As drain outside no 12 is blocked, water flows down Oakfield Grove, and in heavy rain overwhelms drain outside 20 OG and then runs round the side of my property (22) blocks my 4" gully causing a flood against the side of my house. The problem is compounded by very intermittent road sweeping despite large leaf drop from 2 large mature trees. Can we have regular leaf clearing in Oakfield Grove please?

Drain o/s no 4 has been cleared but is now choked with leaves and mud from BNE excavation for BT Openreach.
