Hi, Just as a thought I wonder whether this has any connection with Highways ref no: 102317899 which concerned the adjacent drain which was continually blocking and which required a new pot - that was 4 years ago and it still hasn't been replaced (although it was marked up with paint some time ago). It may be the overflow from the drain has caused the sinkhole. Regardless, any repairs/replacement for the 2 problems could be done at the same time to save money/effort/inconvenience etc.
