Request for double yellow lines on street corner

Reported in the General Highways Enquiry category anonymously at 18:36, Saturday 28 September 2019

Sent to Bristol City Council 4 minutes later

As the attached photo shows, this street corner on Holmes Street-Goulter Street is lacking double yellow lines. The lack of double yellows on this street corner has resulted in some motorists parking right on the corner, not only being an obstruction to pedestrians in wheelchairs or with pushchairs who wish to cross here, but also blocking the line of sight for drivers coming down Goulter Street from Queen Ann Road. I have seen on a number of occurrences near misses at this corner, not only between motorists, but also with cyclists, whenever a vehicle parks on this corner. I am surprised there has not been any road traffic accidents here as of yet. So bearing all this in mind, this is why I request double yellows here.
