There are several storm drains around this zebra crossing on Westbury Road BS9. None of them appear to be functional when it rains. The consequent flooding of the crossing, the pavement and the road means that the crossing is unusable and pedestrians are forced to step out onto a busy A road unaided in order either to walk down the road or cross it. This continues (despite many reports to the Council of the problem here) to be very dangerous for pedestrians, especially during rush hour when many of those forced into the road and oncoming traffic by the flooding, are children. All the drains in the immediate area need to be thoroughly cleared and regularly maintained, otherwise it’s likely that someone will get hurt here. Please act promptly
