Basement flooding 234
Reported in the Flooding category anonymously at 10:36, Fri 4 October 2019
Sent to Bristol City Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1792337.
234 Stapleton Road, the section of the shop referred to as the Victory Stores, the basement is flooding.
The issue has, in the past, also affected 236 Stapleton Road.
The exact cause has not been established bu the pattern suggests there is a storm drain that has failed. This is an urgent matter that requires proper attention.
Why is this the only way to report such an issue? It's unacceptable that there is no contact number to discuss this and establish an action plan.

There has been zero communication from the Highways Department. It appears that basement flooding, which might well be attributable to a stormwater pipe, is not even worth a phone call or an email.
