Footpath blocked BS8 2YD, at back of Kings Arms pub, 6 Wesley Place
Reported in the Obstruction category anonymously at 18:25, Mon 7 October 2019

The Kings Arms pub have chained all their bins to the pavement. This means pedestrians can no longer use the pavement as chains are across it. This is a great concern for public safety as not only is it a hazard on the pavement for poorly sighted individuals but also it is forcing people including young children onto the main road in the way of oncoming traffic. I would have thought these bins should be kept on their site, rather than blocking the public highway. Further to this, they have now put chains across the public footpath, in contravention of the Highways Act which ensures public footpaths should not be obstructed. It is also being blocked by their wheelie bins (which should be kept on their site) and loose rubbish which is attracting rats.
