Henbury ford is constantly flooded
Reported in the Flooding category anonymously at 12:46, Wed 9 October 2019
Sent to Bristol City Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1798375.
The ford in Henbury normally floods only after an exceptional downpour. At the moment it is constantly flooded, even after a dry day. It has been this way for a few weeks and I can only assume that the grate and tunnel are blocked. The consequence is that when it does rain harder, the ford blocks the road and buses are unable to get through it, (as today). This makes it very difficult for those of us who rely on the buses from Station Road to get into the centre in a reasonable time.
Please could you visit and unblock the ford, so it flows better and is less likely to block the road.
Thank you.
