Re: complaint 1773303
Reported in the Obstruction category anonymously at 10:48, Thu 10 October 2019
Sent to Bristol City Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1799519.
This is still a problem, me and my son are still having to go in the road and no one has contacted me, so I don't know why this complaint has been closed. There is building work with scaffolding at the junction between Victoria Parade and Whitehall rd. The scaffolding has been blocked off so pedestrians can't use the pavement. I use a mobility scooter so have had to reverse 200m to the nearest dropped kerb and then proceed in the road in order to get to the zebra crossing on Whitehall rd. I can't cross to the other side of the road as there is no dropped kerb. This has been going on for approx 3 weeks and there is no signage to warn pedestrians , ibdicate how long the pavement will be closed for or identify who the building is being carried out by.
