Parrys Lane end of Reedley Road,

Reported in the Gully/Drainage category anonymously at 08:11, Fri 11 October 2019

Sent to Bristol City Council 3 minutes later

Drain is consistently blocked due to foliage from the large Horse Chestnut Tree. Normally i can unblock it from leaves but the grill is clear so the blockage is internal. The flooding has covered the pavement and part of the road

  • I alerted you to this issue a month ago and yet nothing has been done. This is causing a significant risk to both pedestrians and vehicles and needs sorting. There was an accident this week just yards away from this junction whereby a vehicle hit the island and overturned onto the pavement. If that type of incident is possible under normal conditions then i dread to think what could happen when the road is in this state. Please give this mater the urgency it demands otherwise i fear your inaction could result in serious injury.

  • The caller is very unhappy and considers this a danger to life. A car recently had an accident at this point. He wasn't happy that this has had to wait 2 months.
