Though a few potholes have been filled here, the road surface is still in a pretty poor and defected condition.

Defective, dangerous road surface. The road has crumbled and is littered in broken stones, potholes and you can see the original cobbled stones beneath the surface it's so worn out. It makes turning at this junction on a bicycle a huge skid risk and my tires get caught in the dips daily, they're unavoidable. Surely the contractors whose massive vehicles use this road bear some of the responsibility to make this good. Sort it out- it's a matter of time before someone has a serious accident.

Just another cyclist here: this is really unpleasant when you're being chased down by a car through the dark tunnel and you have to turn right through these potholes. Please fix this.
