Constant Problem with Fly Tiping
Reported in the Obstruction category anonymously at 14:27, Thu 31 October 2019
Sent to Bristol City Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1826613.
This issue is related to frequent fly tipping that occurs on Ilchester Crescent. In particular there is a back alley which runs behind house number 207 all the way along to house number 267. You are able to gain access to both ends of the alleyway, and can comfortable fit a large vehicle down it. Scattered down this alley is an oil drum, discarded fridge/freezers, plastic chairs, foam, plasterboard and most recently plastic crates and a huge pile of black bin bags, cupboards, and plasterboards (which thankfully on the 30-Oct-2019 has been removed). This area is a mixture of privately owned and Social housing occupants. Other areas in Ilchester Crescent have gates which protect the land and prevent fly tipping. I would like to know whether Bristol City Council can install any preventative measures to this land therefore preventing continued illegal activity? This doesn't have to necessarily be gates, could removable bollards be installed? Please respond and advise. Many thanks in advance.
