Update on previously reported flooding.

Reported in the Flooding category anonymously at 11:26, Mon 11 November 2019

Sent to Bristol City Council 4 minutes later

I cannot add to the existing FMS report on flooding so I am reporting as a duplicate. I have raised the issue of flooding with the Council on NUMEROUS OCCASIONS OVER AT LEAST 5 YEARS.. I have referred it to Councillors (inc. Cllr Threlfall) with no action. The Council did reply that it was a Highways England issue, but HE rapidly corrected the Council, which the Council accepted. I received a message from a Council Officer some 18 months ago, stating that drainage had recently been provided. I saw no evidence nor improvement and concluded that the Council couldn't identify the correct location. The path is a regular commuter route and people should NOT be expected to wear wellington boots just in case the path is flooded with 30+mm of muddy water. All that is needed is a trench with 'porous' pipe a few yards down to lower ground. Copied to UWE for information.
