Massive flood, pedestrians soaked by passing cars.ignoring leaf collections caused this
Reported in the Flooding category anonymously at 19:55, Wed 13 November 2019
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1845070.
For years, flooding in apsley road had been reported.
Finally this year the drain was cheated and everything had been fine
Yesterday you said you would clear Apsley Road of leaves while you're doing your weekly St John's Road cleanup, but you lied. Clearly.
Consequently tonight, as the small numbers of leaves were not picked up (they were even swept up into a pile by a neighbour to make it easier for Bristol Waste to collect) the drain has blocked and flooding has returned.
Pedestrians are being soaked by passing cars
Please clear the drains as you're clearly not interested in clearing the leaves.
