Henbury ford still flooding
Reported in the Flooding category anonymously at 20:19, Thu 14 November 2019
Sent to Bristol City Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1847100.
Previously logged as 1798375 but obviously not fixed.
The ford in Henbury normally floods only after an exceptional downpour. At the moment it is constantly flooded, even after a dry day. It has been this way for a few weeks and I can only assume that the grate and tunnel are blocked and need dredging. The consequence is that when it does rain harder, the ford blocks the road and buses are unable to get through it. FirstBus now stop buses going through it if it's rained hard, even if cars are still going through the ford. This makes it very difficult for those of us who rely on the buses from Station Road to get into the centre or to Westbury on Trym in a reasonable time.
Please could you visit and unblock the ford, so it flows better and is less likely to block the road.
Thank you.
