Speed awareness and traffic count
Reported via iOS anonymously at 09:21, Tue 26 November 2019
Sent to Bristol City Council 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1862299.
As there is a traffic count happening on wells road, appropriately place near traffic lights, school, shops and church. These systems also take note of traffic speed, I live on the wells road and know that cars, buses and lorries hammer it down and up this hill, particularly here. Please can you investigate the statistics from the metro count. It would be sensible to install a speed camera here and change to a 20mph speed limit and cash in on no law abusers, failing to do so could result in a fatality’s / injuries and ultimately a cost to the tax payer. Just a thought as the statistics will be there on the metro count for you to see.
Kind regards
