This is the third time I have reported this issue. Until someone recently put pebbles into the hole, you could see directly into the drain. This is now a more significant trip hazard as the hole is getting bigger. If someone wearing a narrow heel stood on this, the back of their foot could fall into the drain causing a fall and potentially a significant injury. The original work to drop this kerb was presumably inadequate as this has already required repair once in the past. Should the original contractors rather than council tax payers bear responsibility for the repairs?

The hole is getting larger around the drain and I’m concerned that it’s going to become a real trip hazard. As nothing has been done to date to repair the problem even though I reported it a while ago, I have arranged for the hole to be repaired this week.
