At the bottom of York Avenue some tree roots have protruded through pavement causing a raised trip hazard. I didn't see it in the dark last week and had a nasty fall when walking down the hill. This would be a particular trip hazard for e.g. young children, those with mobility issues, the elderly. I don't know how long this has been present.
