Dangerous spiky hedge overhanging footway at No 34 St Matthew's Road.
Reported in the Obstruction category anonymously at 15:49, Thu 28 November 2019
Sent to Bristol City Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1866699.
An overgrown pyrocanthus bush overhangs the pavement by over a meter. This bush has vicious spiky thorns up to 3 cm long at face level. We approached the occupants of the house some four weeks ago, but they say they can only ask the agents to contact the landlord. I today warned a partially sighted woman using that pavement: she had luckily avoided injury. Nothing has yet been done to prune the branches, although I have now found a spare red warning fence and put it round the bush.
