Uneven pavement inaccessible for pushchairs/disabled

Reported in the Pavement Defect category anonymously at 14:15, Wed 4 December 2019

Sent to Bristol City Council 5 minutes later

The pavement on the left hand side of metford road as you walk up from the top of Harcourt hill contains a number of dropped curbs for driveway entrances. The transition from the pavement over the driveway entrances is frequently a step, rather than a smooth transition. This makes the pavement very difficult to traverse with a pushchair or wheelchair. Given the road leads to a park the pavement is often utilised by young families and disabled persons alike.

The problem gets worse the further up the road you go and has been an issue for at least 2 years. It could be resolved simply through smoothing out the transitions from pavement over driveway entrances.

This would be of great benefit to all users of the pavement.
