  • Can I please update that this part of the road is in a very unsafe condition. No work has been carried out for weeks. There is no street lighting and there are UNMARKED ramps and manhole etc that are dangerous to cycles to motorcycles and can cause damage to other vehicles. I understand that this road improvement is subject to a condition placed on the new Viridor Plant application but now that Clugston (principal contractors) have gone into administrator it is unlikely that work will continue until new contractors are found. Surely BCC have a duty of care to ensure that the road is safe in the meantime and do not want to be accountable if an accident does result. I suggest that a site visit is made ASAP.

  • Terrible unfinished road conditions that’s been like this for a long time, no lighting and poor signs for raised man hole and ramps. Had to have two alloy wheels welded this week on my car because of cracks in wheels.
