Appalling road surface / flooded areas all been unattended by BCC for far too long

Sent to Bristol City Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1885886.
You must be receiving lots of complaints about this road as serious road disruption has gone on for well over a year. We were told you would sort it first in July then extended till September. It is now Christmas. Little significant has yet been done and we are led to believe the works contractor who was to restore the road has now gone bust. The whole road right into Hallen needs relaying and raising / sloping to alleviate the rainwater (We had first mentioned that to you over ten years ago). Please can something be done as this is a key route into Bristol that alleviates traffic from elsewhere such as Cribbs Causeway or the Portway.

This road is getting worse and worse and we have heard that the contractor responsible went into receivership. There must surely be a procedure in place for the council to step in for these type of circumstances. This road needs sorting out before it becomes impassable for domestic vehicles, the large volume of HGVs are accelerating the deterioration.

The whole stretch of Severn Road from the A403 up to Hallen has pot holes to varying degrees in various places and the inspector should be sent to report on the whole stretch. Hopefully then something might get done?

There is a bad pothole opposite where it says “UA & CP Bdy” by the industrial estate on Severn Road from Hallen to A403. Must have been there heading on for a year now and it is often underwater these days making it twice as treacherous. Someone placed a cone by it once (currently to be found in the hedge near to the hole) and it had a white line round it once too. Please can BCC kindly get a move on and fill it in, it is particularly dangerous for cyclists.

Due to self isolation we haven’t been using that route so don’t currently know if anything has changed
