Lawrence hill underpasses flooded AGAIN
Reported in the Flooding category anonymously at 19:31, Thu 12 December 2019
Sent to Bristol City Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1886020.
The two city side underpasses are inches deep in water, and with more rain forecast this will only get worse. I have repeatedly reported this, only to get an email saying the case has been closed without action.

Lawrence Hill underpass has two of it's entrances/exits flooded with rainwater that has no where to go. Please arrange for some extra drainage to cope with heavy rainfall. It's always the entrances nearest Easton Road and Lawrence Hill that flood year in year out. This wouldn't be the case if the underpass was in BS6, BS7, BS8 or BS9.

I came off my bike trying to get through today. It's been impassable every time there's been some rainfall for years. Why no action?

The water has subsided so the underpass can be navigated, but it has clearly not been cleaned out so will flood again at the next storm. There is thick mud covering the floor of the footway
