Gully flooding

Reported in the Gully/Drainage category anonymously at 10:40, Fri 13 December 2019

Sent to Bristol City Council 5 minutes later

This marked gully on Goulter Street backed-up and flooded yesterday in the downpour of rain, so I now make this request to ask that the gully be unblocked as the rainwater runoff from this gully when it backs-up puts more pressure on the other gullies on Goulter Street and Salisbury Street, and if those gullies too back-up then it will inevitably lead to flooding of homes on and around these streets.

  • Update - Upon passing by this gully today, I took note that the gully is backed-up with water, despite the fact it has not even rained, so where the water has come from to flood this drain makes me wonder if there is possibly a fault with the drainage connection?
