The extended periods of flooding due this winter's heavy rains are causing the Frome Valley Walkway to crumble away. The section of path below the weir where there is a safety fence remains flooded for weeks on end with large patches of deep mud. The path needs to be re-engineered with a camber, and gaps through or under the fence to allow leaves and mud to run off into the river instead of being dammed up by the fence. The alternative high level path is also unusable due to a crumbled set of steps, and a fallen tree, and this path too is a muddy quagmire. This has been a problem for years! Please sort it out.
