Dran cover sunken vertically 2" deep
Reported in the Carriageway Defect category anonymously at 10:07, Sat 14 December 2019
Sent to Bristol City Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1887835.
See the photo. The drain cover has sunken straight downwards into the road by about 2".
Unusual, as normally they have rounded edges, but this one appears to have gone straight down like the ground under it has collapsed.

Hi, this has been an issue for over a month.
I'm sure you're aware that this is one of the main roads that exit the heart of Bristol BEFORE the traffic forks into the A4 and A37.
Drivers now know the hazard is there because it's been there long enough and are moving out to cross lanes to avoid it. As noted by another person, it is an accident waiting to happen.
When will this be resolved as a month is not "in a timely fashion".

Manhole sunken into the road, been there since early December. Large enough that it is forcing cars/trucks into the other lane, cannot be avoided without changing lanes and too deep for the average road speed without high risk of damage to the vehicle.
