Blocked drains-Road flooded from 12th December 2019

Reported in the Flooding category anonymously at 09:36, Mon 16 December 2019

Sent to Bristol City Council 4 minutes later

The drains outside no. 39 and near no. 45 Brynland Avenue have been blocked for many months and cause flooding on rainy days, as previously reported on behalf of our neighbourhood. However, this is still unresolved. On 12th December the blocked drains caused the heavy rain to collect and flood over the path and half of road towards other side. It was clear that people with Mobility scooters, children in pushchairs, cyclists and other vehicles were having great difficulty accessing the street. Fewer places to park, due to road waterlogging. Locals worried re impact on house foundations. Flooding remained for around 12 hours once rain had ceased.
