Local Direction Sign demolished. Sharp remnants of posts in footway.
Reported in the General Highways Enquiry category anonymously at 12:56, Wed 18 December 2019
Sent to Bristol City Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1894703.
Note: Your maps are not working so the plotted location is probably incorrect. The location is on the southern side of St Johns Lane, just west of the roundabout junction with St Lukes Road in Totterdown. A local direction sign has been knocked down and the sign posts have sheared at the bottom. The remnants of the posts are sharp and they protrude from the footway presenting a hazard to pedestrians.

Your maps are now working. The demolished sign is close to the westbound exit from the St Lukes Road / St Johns Lane roundabout. It is outside No. 85 St Johns Lane (approx 100m north of where it was initially reported).

It's taken 8 months for Bristol City Council to investigate this. 8 months! During that 8 months, the demolished signage has been replaced and someone has made the sharp stumps safe (probably by bashing flat with a hammer). This would be why your inspector couldn't find a problem. Eight months is an appalling response time. Not fit for purpose.
