Reported anonymously at 11:44, Mon 23 December 2019

Sent to Bristol City Council 1 minute later

There is a pothole that has appeared around a manhole cover on Anchor Road. This is in line with the Junction of Gasworks Lane and Lime Kiln Road. The problem is on Anchor Road. It is bad enough to case a cycle accident.

Updates

  • This is Pothole is very dangerous, especially after dark, for Cyclists or Motorcyclists who would tend to take the centre of the lane, whereas Buses and taxis straddle the pothole surrounding the cover. As it has been previously reported I am amazed that it hasn't yet been repaired.

  • The hole has been filled including over the cover, but it is now a harsh raised "bump" as the new tarmac covering it has not been laid to current Highways specifications, so it still forms a hazard, but a slightly lesser one then before (for Cyclists and Motorcyclists) at least.

  • Junction resurfaced.
