5 Potholes spread out accross Highbury Road.

Reported in the Carriageway Defect category anonymously at 14:22, Fri 27 December 2019

Sent to Bristol City Council 3 minutes later

The potholes are located outside houses 2, 10, 36,70 and 88 Highbury Road. The largest one just past house 88 is around dinner plate size and a couple inches deep, this is the largest one of them. All of them are getting worse due to increased traffic on the road. This is a one way street with cars parked on both sides making it difficult to avoid the potholes.

  • After going over this pothole on Christmas Eve, my car exhaust centre pipe snapped and I had to pay over £300 worth of damages to my car because of the implications of this snapping. I have to drive down this road almost every day, and because of the roadworks on the left hand side of the road, and the parked cars on the right hand side, these potholes are incredibly difficult to avoid and they are getting bigger every day.

  • These potholes continue to cause major problems for residents using the road every day. There are large potholes at the building site end and numerous smaller ones down the Parson street end with more opening up as the bad weather continues. I cycle and fell off my bike narrowly missing a bad injury and whilst driving it's difficult to avoid them given the narrow nature of the road. Overall it's very dangerous and frustrating as it needs immediate attention and has done for some time.

  • These potholes are becoming increasingly larger day by day. Someone is going to have a serious accident soon as you cannot avoid these 2 at the bottom of the road by the Building works.
