Very large pothole on the bend from Hengrove Way onto Lakeshore Drive.
Reported in the Carriageway Defect category anonymously at 14:23, Fri 3 January 2020
Sent to Bristol City Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1916826.
The pothole is about 6 inches deep, and is very difficult to see when it rains as it fills up with water. A car has driven over it the other day and its tire was shredded and the car had to be towed away. Driver worried about other vehicles getting damaged.

As the conditions were wet the pot hole was full of water. As a result it was impossible to know that the pothole existed and as a result I dropped into the pothole damaging my tyre beyond repair. As I have run flats I had to be towed to a local garage and have the tyre replaced at a cosy of £132.79 for which I will make a claim

I accidentally drove over this and burst my tyre as it was filled with water. Got the tyre fixed but still need to get my alignment fixed as it's now off on the tyre as a result. Missed half a day of work because of this.

This pot hole has caused damaged to my car, on the 17th Jan it was dark and full of water it’s burst my tyre that in need to get repaired and my alignment checked, on 15th your inspector said the pot hole was fine, how can a pot hole that’s 44” long, 13 1/2” wide and 5” deep be acceptable? I will be pursuing a claim.
