Very large pothole. Seemingly getting larger as more of the road is breaking off
Reported in the Carriageway Defect category anonymously at 17:56, Fri 3 January 2020
Sent to Bristol City Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1917336.
I have noticed that the pothole has been reported previously however it is seemingly getting larger due to more road being broken off as I’m sure other vehicles/bikes etc are hitting it. At night/in the rain you would not see this.

Drove through this pothole on the way to work (at Bristol Children's Hospital) at 6:20pm on Friday 10th 2020. Pothole damaged both tyre and alloy on front passenger side on 4 month old car. Unable to see pothole due to low lighting conditions. Tyre needed to be replaced immediately as not safe to continue driving on with visible bulge, Alloy not buckled but cosmetically damaged. Have witness in car to verify events.

I hit this pothole yesterday afternoon. I was doing 20 mph but the noise the impact made was so loud! I feared the worst immediately. I looked in the rear view mirror and spotted the hole in the road which somebody else has posted a picture of in the above thread. Almost immediately my low tyre pressure warning sign for the front left tyre came on. I've just checked the tyre this morning before work and it's punctured. I'm getting a mechanic to come out today to check it for any other damage not visible to the eye.
