Vehicle barrier on footpath has collapsed due to rotted 200mmX200mm wooden post
Reported in the Street Furniture category anonymously at 14:25, Mon 6 January 2020
Sent to Bristol City Council 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1921487.
The wooden post had been rotting at the base for some time and finally collapsed just before Christmas. I don' t believe that any vandalism has occurred. Someone has tucked the broken post and attached steel tubes against an adjacent wall. I will send photos as soon as possible.

I have brought the components of the barrier inside my property for safekeeping because they were being scattered about and at risk of being lost which would have made repair more expensive.
