Request for road resurfacing, Newgate
Reported in the General Highways Enquiry category anonymously at 12:15, Wed 8 January 2020
Sent to Bristol City Council 6 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1925431.
Following on from the many reports from other citizens on FixMyStreet regarding potholes, ridges, and general uneven surfacing of the carriageway along the full length of Newgate, I now would like to make a request for the carriageway to be completely resurfaced to correct these reported issues. Provided that there is not already plans to resurface, that is?

I Second the above request for Newgate to be resurfaced, particularly the uphill section just after the Fairfax street lights. This section has been getting worse for a long time and I regularly see cars steering around bumps and dips in the road, this is two lanes and it is not obvious or safe with the current state of the road.
