Temporary light not replaced yet
Reported in the Street Light category by Jane Stacey at 20:30, Thu 9 January 2020
Sent to Bristol City Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1928779.
The temporary lamppost and the box covering the live street lighting where the original lamppost was positioned have not been replaced yet. The recycling Lorry mounted the pavement and knocked the lamppost down last July in The Paragon in Clifton. Please can you give us an idea of when we will get our permanent lamppost back and the box removed . Thank you

Councillor Paula O' Rourke has been told that the replacement will take a long time. Please could you confirm that the replacement lamp post has been ordered and give an estimated lead time.

Given the failure to respond to queries made in January and February it may reasonably be assumed that the council has still not managed to order a replacement for the lamppost knocked down by a recycling truck around July 2019. Surely the council cannot blame this delay on Covid 19? An update by the council would be appreciated by all concerned instead of silence.
