I am going to paint double yellows on this layby myself

Reported in the Obstruction category anonymously at 19:01, Mon 13 January 2020

Sent to Bristol City Council 5 minutes later

The layby next to this roundabout is continuously abused by double parkers who block in the cars parked on the correct side of it. I have had enough of it and am going to paint double yellows on one side myself unless you do it

Updates

  • A new enquiry has been raised for this issue.

Posted by Bristol City Council at 19:06, Mon 13 January 2020

  • Today a large parked van (BK10 KPN) and smaller parked van (NJ07 RZL) completely blocked this street from use, please see pictures attached. I spoke to the owner of the small white van who refused to move his vehicle stating "it's a private road I don't have to move", despite that he could see I could not park elsewhere nearby and that he was clearly blocking the use of two parking spaces. This is a constant issue with this street. Please make it clear that this road is not a private road, and paint double-yellow markings down one side.
