Pavement and bus stop obstructed by A boards and bins
Reported in the Obstruction category anonymously at 19:57, Fri 17 January 2020
Sent to Bristol City Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1945739.
This busy pavement and bus stop is now permanently obstructed by bins and A boards. Something needs to be done about this as people need to be able to access buses and have room to pass each other on the pavement. You can see in the photos that people have had to walk between bins after getting off the bus. The available width of pavement is only a few feet and would be even less if people were sat at the tables. The council has an A board policy. It needs to be enforced. The trade bins never used to be placed on the bus stop so there is no reason why they should be there now. A similar situation existed on Glouscester Road and that was resolved so the same should happen here. It's gone on far too long.
