Graffiti obscuring illumination of bollards
Reported in the Iluminated Bollard category anonymously at 20:42, Sat 18 January 2020
Sent to Bristol City Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1947317.
The two bollards at the junction of Halsbury Road and Cairns Road have been covered in spray graffiti. When coming down H Rd towards the junction with Cairns it now is impossible to see the first bollard until the last moment. The bollard is offset very much to the left of the road and ordinarily cannot be seen, even without the graffiti, until the last moment due to the sharp LH placement and any parked car on the LHS obscuring this. Now, with graffiti completely dulling the bollard, this is seriously more likely to be unseen and an accident or tragedy waiting to happen.
