  • I am not writing about the above obstruction. i want to draw your attention to the traffic on Coronation Road. i have been unable to use the Council Road Reporting website which like the traffic on Coronation road is a shambles. Specifically everyday the traffic on Coronation Road coming INTO bristol is queueing BACK to the Cumberlanf basin and not just at rush hour but until after 2pm. The root cause ,aside from Cumberland Road closure, is roadworks at Dean lane! Why is this work being permitted when we have already lost 50% of our inbound capacity. It is taking the M2 Metrobus 20 minutes just to reach Bedminste Bridge. What is more in 10 days I never seen one workman at the roadworks. Please kindly pass this onto someone in authority in the Roads Dept and ask for a little common sense to be exercised Thanks John Lurie

  • I reported this issue in January, and had follow up conversations via telephone, twice, ( well before covid 19) Nothing has been done. Vehicles still trying to turn around having not realise it’s a dead end road !
