Double yellow lines needed
Reported in the General Highways Enquiry category anonymously at 09:28, Saturday 1 February 2020
Sent to Bristol City Council 5 hours, 41 minutes later
At the top of the West Town Avenue, where the road meets West Town Lane, double yellow lines are needed. Cars park over both corners causing a disruption to vehicles trying to turn into and out of the avenue, including missed deliveries as lorries cannot turn down. It also causes a hazard to people trying to cross the road as cars block view and, due to no dropped curb, there is no safe place to cross, especially for school children who use this route regularly.
