Damaged road surface
Reported in the Carriageway Defect category anonymously at 07:39, Fri 7 February 2020
Sent to Bristol City Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1983787.
The bottom 50 metres or so of Shaldon Road, at the junction with Muller Rd, is a complete mess of badly damaged road surface and potholes. This is a danger to cyclists (try it in the dark, not fun!) and is causing unnecessary wear to vehicles. This has been a known issue for a LONG time (a couple of years at least). Just because there are Muller Rd improvements planned for some point in the future (will be well over a year at least), we shouldn't have to wait for our safety concerns to be addressed

The road is so badly damaged with potholes making it unsafe for cars, bikes in particular. My car has had to have 4 sets of ball joints in 2 years because of these potholes. Guy at the garage said he had others in with defects to. This has to be done or I am going to consider claiming agsinst the council. it's so dangerous even at slow speeds.

This road is very dangerous to vehicles now.
A couple of massive deep potholes at the bottom on the hill, and overall surface is far from flat, causing cars to regularly hit bumper on the road.
This need fixing before someone really damages their car.

Massive pothole just as you turn at the lights onto Shaldon Road. It is ridiculous as it has been bad for the last year. Why do I pay council tax and road tax ?
