The ‘monk’ in Duchess Lake. (Brick built drain)

Reported in the Flooding category anonymously at 17:02, Sat 15 February 2020

Sent to Bristol City Council 4 minutes later

The overflow control (monk) has been blocked for over a year. With the recent heavy rain the lake is overflowing badly. It is unlikely that clearance can be done from the monk itself until the water recedes, as you can’t even see where it is, however with a plan of the drain pipes it may be possible to un-block it from the ‘land’ side.
