10 inch pothole in the middle of the road half way up Pinewood Close

Reported in the Carriageway Defect category anonymously at 18:10, Monday 17 February 2020

Sent to Bristol City Council 6 minutes later

This pothole appeared in the new year and is widening fast due to retention of rainwater coming down the hill and vehicles turning onto the adjacent drive ways breaking more material off daily. In a few weeks it has enlarged from a very small defect into a 10 inch diameter, 3 inch deep hole. The growing hole is causing stone and tarmac debris in the vicinity which is likely to lead to stones flying as cars pass over. The area is used extensively by primary and secondary school children both on foot and bicycles and I am concerned someone will get hurt by flying debris or trip in the hole during dark hours when it is particularly difficult to see.
